Bugatti Cars

Bugatti Mistral Description

The Bugatti Mistral is a limited-production open-top hypercar produced by Bugatti that marks the last vehicle to use the W16 engine that was first introduced for Bugatti Veyron in 2005.
The Mistral was first revealed in 19 August 2022. It was built as the last ever Bugatti car to use 8.0 liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine that was first used in Bugatti Veyron in 2005, serving as a swan-song for the engine. It shares the same engine with Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ which produces 1,578 horsepower.

The car was named after “Mistral” wind which blows from Rhône Valley through South France and into the Mediterranean. The name was given due for being associated with freedom, elegance and speed.

Mistral pays tribute to the Type 57 Roadster Grand Raid Usine in design, including the car’s bodywork, V-shaped windscreen, and the colors of warm black and signature subtle yellow accents paying tribute to Ettore Bugatti, founder of the brand who uses this combination to his personal cars. The car has a reinvented frontal design including new horseshoe grille, lining with other one-off or limited production Bugatti models. The car also shares design similarities with other Bugatti models such as in La Voiture Noire with A-shaped pillars and side windows, and in Bolide with X-themed motifs.

99 units of Mistral are planned to be produced, with each units being costed at 5 million euros. Deliveries are expected in 2024.
