Renault Dezir Description

The Renault DeZir is an electric concept car, with zero emissions, that was first officially presented at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. The car is a 2-seat coupe with butterfly doors and the interior is finished in red leather. The concept’s butterfly doors open like a conventional butterfly door on the driver’s side and a suicide butterfly door on the passenger’s side. The car costs $2 Million.

The series is modeled after the stages of life that a person might encounter. People may fall in love, discover the world, start a family, work, have fun and become wise. The DeZir concept symbolizes the love stage, and other cars symbolize other stages.

The DeZir is powered by a mid-mounted electric motor producing 148 hp (110 kW; 150 PS) of power and 226 N⋅m (167 lb⋅ft) of torque, making it attain 0-60 mph (0-100km/h) in time of 5 seconds and a maximum speed of 112 mph (184 km/h).
